EARLY DETECTION AND INTERVENTION

UCP Central PA is a participating affiliate in the Early Detection & Intervention Collaborative (EDI) which is sponsored by the UCP National Research Committee.

The EDI Collaborative is a group of physicians, occupational therapists and physical therapists who are trained to provide earlier detection and intervention of Cerebral Palsy. This includes a care pathway using the Hammersmith Infant Neurological Exam (HINE) as well as other detection assessment tools recognized by the Cerebral Palsy Foundation, a partner in the UCP EDI Collaborative.

If you are looking to refer a child with high-risk warning signs for CP, please contact the UCP Early Intervention program at 717-737-3477 x233 or ucpedi@ucpcentralpa.org.
