For over 60 years, UCP Central PA has been meeting the needs of individuals of all ages with all types of disabilities and special needs, at every stage of life - from pediatric to geriatric. With our comprehensive array of programs and services, we can help you achieve greater independence in areas as varied as education, employment, housing, and social and recreational activities.


Adult Day Programs provide a safe, secure, and stimulating environment where adults with disabilities can learn, grow, nurture relationships with their peers, and actively participate in the community around them.

UCP’s assistive technology devices, equipment, services and supports make every day independence day.

UCP Central PA enables individuals with disabilities to direct their own services and enjoy greater independence, both at home and in the community.

Early Intervention Services support and educate children from birth to age three who are experiencing or are at risk for developmental delay, or have other special needs.

The Family Support Services Program is a unique, multi-tiered system of support for parents, siblings, and extended family members of individuals with disabilities up to the age of 21.

UCP’s Home Care program provides in-home personal care and other support services for adults with disabilities and seniors who need assistance to accomplish daily living tasks.

Independent Living Technology pairs UCP's staff and experience with SimplyHome's innovative technologies for maximum independence.

UCP provides support, training, and opportunities for individuals so that they may more actively participate in their home, school and community around them.

The LifeFit program for schools is a fitness and nutrition-based curriculum taught in conjunction with Life Skills teachers over the school year to increase the student’s knowledge of fitness and nutrition and increase activity in the classroom.

Options Childcare and Preschool offers an inclusive classroom setting that pairs typically developing children from six weeks to five years alongside children with special needs.

UCP's Residential Services provide a safe, secure, and stimulating environment where adults with disabilities can learn, grow, nurture relationships with their housemates, and actively participate in the community around them.

UCP provides overnight, short-term, AM/PM, and evening respite throughout Cumberland County.

The Supported Employment Program provides a wide range of support services, from identifying the individual’s job interests to interacting with the employer as needed.
