Celebrating all the awesome fathers (and the lucky kids who get to call them “Dad”).
Thanks to the amazing leadership of UCP volunteer extraordinaire Marisa Tokarsky--and the collective efforts of some 35 Deloitte volunteers--June 10 proved to be another spectacular day for the folks in several of UCP’s adult day programs and community homes.
Staff and participants of UCP’s Alternatives and Stepping Stones Adult Day Programs joined forces with other human services providers, consumers, and disability advocates to take their message to the Capitol for a Disability Funding Rally on Monday, June 6.
Sibshops - lively support sessions for children who have a sibling with a disability. Held 8 times per year and filled with fun, discussion, crafts, and food!
May 21st was a rainy day, but the rain did not keep the walkers away!
Thanks to all of our amazing walkers, donors, and volunteers,
we raised over $4,200 and had almost 100 registered walkers!
May 17, 2016 was PA Lobby Day at the Capitol Rotunda in Harrisburg. The Pennsylvania Homecare Association is a state trade association representing more than 700 organizations that provide care and support to individuals in their own homes. UCP’s Capital Home Care (CHC)—our non-medical, in-home care service--was on hand for the day’s events.
