UCP Central PA Chief Operating Officer Janeen Latin participated in a panel discussion on independent living supports for individuals with disabilities on June 22. The low-key event was coordinated by Shirley Keith Knox of Dauphin County MH/ID and hosted by Goodwill of Harrisburg.
Marisa Tokarsky from the local Deloitte office in Mechanicsburg, along with her “army” of about 35 volunteers, was out in full force at Adventure Zone Park on the grounds of Capital Area Christian Church for Deloitte Impact Day 2017.
Several staff and consumers from UCP’s Colonial Park Alternatives program regularly volunteer throughout the year at RSVP of the Capital Region in Camp Hill. So when RSVP was planning it’s 45th Annual Volunteer Recognition Luncheon, they invited UCP program and staff volunteers.
On April 28, 2017 we celebrated the arts! The event included artwork, music & dance, and an auction. Visual displays could be found throughout the building.
