Janeen M. Latin
Chief Operating Officer
Janeen Latin is Chief Operating Officer (COO) for UCP Central PA where she is responsible for the strategic direction of UCP program operations across a 17-county area. She most recently served as both Chief Management Officer (CMO) and UCP Foundation Executive Director where she was responsible for leading the agency’s assistive technology, family support, fundraising, development, marketing, and communications functions.
Janeen is a leader who looks well beyond the horizon and who will see and design a future of independence and a life without limits for people with disabilities. She is outstanding at articulating goals and timelines and engaging others in developing, understanding, and joining her in achieving our vision for the future.
Janeen has been a member of UCP’s Management Team since 2005. In that capacity, she has provided guidance to UCP’s human resources, fiscal, and administrative functions, as well as ongoing assessment of the agency’s strategic initiatives and program operations.
Janeen joined UCP in 1998 as a leader of the Family Support Services team, which provides support for parents, siblings, and extended families of children with disabilities. She also has had extensive hands-on and leadership experience working with UCP’s assistive technology services.
Prior to UCP, Janeen worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant/ER-OR Technician for PinnacleHealth Nursing and Support Services.
An avid community volunteer, Janeen currently serves as a Board member at Community Carepoint and the Pennsylvania Assistive Technology Foundation. She is also an Advisory Board member for The DREAM Partnership (a subsidiary of UCP), and is a member of the Capital Region Civitan Club. She has previously served as secretary of the Greater Harrisburg Chapter of the Autism Society of America, and on the Advisory Board for a National Institutes of Health grant focusing on physical activity programs for youth with disabilities.
Janeen holds a MPS in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Finance, and a BS in Organizational Leadership from Penn State University. She is a 2012 graduate of the UCP National Emerging Leaders Academy.
She lives in Harrisburg with her husband Frank and has four daughters Michelle, Ashley, Krista, and Megan.
